Aims
:
This course aims to equip the students with all
the knowledge and competence on the management
and design of equipments and instrumentations
for the measurement of different physical quantities
used in supervisor and control systems of automation
processes.
Topics :
This course deals with the management
and design of equipments and instrumentations
for the measurement of different physical quantities
and with the related optimal elaboration of the
acquired signals. The main topics are stated in
the following. Deep analysis of sampling and digital
conversion techniques. Elements of digital signal
processing and digital filtering of acquired signals.
Instrumentations for supervisor and control systems
of production processes. For all the items developed
in classroom, different laboratories activities
have been planned. Students are invited to develop
a project on a topic of the course.
