aim of the course is to study dynamics and statics
of a rigid body with constraints.
Topics :
Free vector calculus. Systems of
applied vectors: equivalence and reduction. Vector
functions. Holonomic constraints. Lagrangian coordinates.
Rigid body with constraints. Kinematics of a rigid
body. Poisson theorem and angular velocity. Relative
kinematics. Newton’s laws. Appearing forces.
Mass geometry. Kinetic quantities. Dynamical equations
and equilibrium conditions for a rigid body with
constraints.
