Aims :

 

Comprehension of fundamental concepts and practical skills of differential calculus of functions of several variables, of vectorial analysis and of Laplace Trasform.

 

Topics :

 

Polar coordinates. Complex numbers. Functions of several variables. Continuity. Differentaton.Gradient and Derivative in a given direction. Implicit function. Multiple integrals.
Change of variables in double and triple integrals. Scalar and vector fields. Line integrals. Surfaces. Surface Integrals.Fondamentals of Field Theory. Divergence theorem.Green and Stokes theorem.
Laplace transforms. Propertis of Laplace transform. Step function and Impulse function (Laplace transform). Solve the Intial Value Problems using Laplace Transform.
