Aims :

 

The student is called on to draft a project (or part of a project) suitable for the realization of a pre-selected object which is absolutely coherent with the documentation provided in terms of dimen-sion, quality, technology and so on.

 

Topics :

 

The course is organized like a design and construction laboratory. Attendance is obligatory and the teacher reserves the right to check attendance during the course of the year. The activities carried out in the class-room consist in theoretical lessons during which the course objectives and the method with which the work is organized are explained, specific problems related to the processing technology of certain materi-als are investigated and the legislative reference provisions, contacts with enterprises and possible on-site visits are carried out. The development of the technological analysis of buildings of interest is continued in the classroom and the problems related to the construction of the designed objects as well. The design ac-tivity takes place in the classroom and ends in free hand drawings and subsequently using digital represen-tation programs as well. Some of the preferential representation techniques are axonometry and axonomet-ric cut away views. In fact, the attention reserved by the course to figurative values (of image) of the ob-jects to be built, obliges the needs to perceive the structure which characterize the designed objects of the dimensional values distinctly (thickness, height and so on).

Exam :

 

The exam will be held at the course’s conclusion. The date on which the exam will be held will be determined in agreement with the students.

 

Tutorial Session :

 

Students will be received every Monday from 16:30 – 18:30.
