Aims :
the
restoring related disciplines are aim to provide
a comprehensive knowledge to operate with the
necessary humanistic and technical skills in the
areas of conservation and recovery of the existing
architectural heritage.
Topics :
theory of restoration: leading-principles
addressing restoration projects; restoration and
environment; searching what constructions are
intended for; conservation projects, consolidation
projects.
Knowledge of the construction process: restoration
relief; historical analysis of the construction;
old constructions’ materials( stone, bricks,
mortar, plaster, stucco, glass, metal, wood);
analysis of the materials and constructions techniques;
structural analysis; representations summing up
the analysis results;
Drafting a restoration project: purposes’
definition; restoring project and functional re-using
according to the law; conservation: scope and
representation; consistent consolidation; installations
fitting: scope and representation; drafting of
a preliminary, definitive and operative project;
samples of conservative-works estimates; knowledge
of the tender specifications related to architectural
restoration.
