Evaluation of the industrial investments. Facility location problems.

Systematic layout planning. Flow analysis and activity analysis. The relationship diagram.

Space requirements and availability. Designing the layout. Group technology.

Lines balancing. Project management techniques: Gant, PERT and CPM.

Maintenance and Reliability. Techniques for establishing maintenance policies.
