Aims :
This
course aims to equip the students with all the
knowledge and competence on the technologies for
the design and the production of systems and equipments
for automation processes and industrial robots.
Topics :
This course deals with the main
technologies of feedback control systems. The
main topics are stated in the following. Introduction
to the process control. Architectures of control
systems. Data acquisition systems. Local area
networks for automation. Field bus. Electrical
actuators. Static and dynamic analysis of dc motors,
steps motors, brushless motors and ac motors.
Electric power converters. Power semiconductors
devices. Static converters. Inverters. Programmable
logic controllers: architectures and programming
languages. Elements of industrial robotics: kinematics,
dynamics and control systems.
