The course goal is to provide the basic knowledge to use CADs for the simulation and design of telecommunication systems.

Topics :

Analisys and application of the most important software to be applied to the design of radio tranceivers, for communication systems simulation and for practical simulation of modulation schemes. Mathcad for link budget analisys. Matlab/Simulink for systems simulation. WinIQSim for practical simulation. Circad for circuits design. Optisys for optical systems design. Network simulation.
