Aims :


The course is aimed to study the aerodynamics of the terrestrial vehicles and wind turbines; this last filed is particularly developed in orderr to define the criteria for the wind farm design.
During the lessons period an experimental test on a bluff body it will planned, by means of the atmospheric wind tunnel of the Ancona University.

Bluff bodies aerodynamicsFlow fields around bluff body
Ground effects on the bluff body flow field
Flow interactions between many bodies in staggered and in-line configurations.
Atmospheric boundary layers
Speed-Up effects induced by the terrain orography
Some preliminary evaluations by the aerodynamic loads induces on the buildings.
