and recovery field, in a way to help students
in making the correct material choice.

and progress of construction materials. Stone
materials. Durability, physical chemical and biological
degradation. The earth as construction material.
Ceramic material, construction brick. Wood as
construction material. Ligands, gypsum, lime,
pozzolanas. Cements: Hydration, hardening, Portland
cements. Fresh concrete: Concrete composition
as a function of mechanical properties and durability.
Aggregates. Elestic properties of concrete. Shrinkage
and viscous slip. Concrete durability. Corrosion
of reinforcement in reinforced concrete. Steel
