The students have to be able to interpretthe hydrogeological features of an area and to manage the water-bearing strata.

Hydrogeological properties of the rocks. Catchment and hydrogeological basin. Hydrologic balance. Distribution and movement of the underground waters. Water-bearing strata. Sources. Chemism of the underground waters. Enviromental isotopes in the hydrogeology. Pollution of water-bearing strata. Notes on underground waters collecting.
