Aims :
The
course aims to give the fundamental bases of analog
electronics and the necessary tools for the analysis
of elementary circuits implemented with both linear
and nonlinear devices such as BJT and MOSFET transistors.
Topics :
The Operational Amplifier:
The ideal Op-Amp, circuital applications, The
non-ideal Op-Amp.;
Bipolar Junction Transistors (BJTs).:Current-voltage
characteristics; The BJT as an amplifier, biasing
in BJT amplifier circuits.
Differential and Multistage amplifiers:
Large signal analysis, small signal analysis.
General analysis of differential amplifier:
common-mode and differential gains. Biasing ICs:
current mirrors. Active-loaded differential amplifier.
Frequency response of the amplifiers.
Output Stages and Power Amplifiers:
Class A, B and AB output stages
Feedback: Properties of the negative
feedback; the four basic feedback topologies:
series-series, shunt-shunt, series-shunt,
shunt-series.
