Aims :
Acquisition
of technical-IT skills (automatic as well as manual)
for use in land Representation.
Topics :
Basic Descriptive Geometry. 2D and
3D graphic representation. Concept of Projection
and methods of Representation (parallel and converging
projections). Orthographic Projections and different
types of Axonometric Projections . Representation
of plane and solid figures; planes of section
and conical sections; representation of rotation
surfaces. Method of Dimensioned Projections and
Contour Lines. Aerophotogrammetric Cartography:
production and representative contents; Photogrammetric
plans and Orthophotocharts .
Graphic techniques: manual and automatic technical
drawing (Autocad). Students will be required to
master the graphic techniques: theoretical classes
will be held in the Drawing classroom, practical
sessions both in the Drawing classroom and in
the computer room . Students may use their own
portable computers.

Exam :
Oral examination: students will
be required to answer questions regarding the
theoretical part of the course, also using free-hand
drawing. Discussion of the work done during the
year course (max. two graphicplates ).
Tutorial Session :
Professor Taus will be available
for the students at his d.A.R.D.U.S. office on
Wednesdays from 10.30 to 16.30.
