Aims :
Quality implementation in Building
Design. Technical Specifications. Management of
Building Projects.
Topics :
- Aspects related to programming
in the building industry. The drafting methods
concerning the preliminary design documents are
discussed (doc. Program), with particular reference
to those having requirement characteristics and
those related to the analysis of techno/economic
feasibility. The possible contents for the three
levels of investigation foreseen by the standards,
as also, the possible interactions with the decisional
flows intrinsic of the initial design phases are
analysed.
- Aspects related to the correct management of
the design phases. In-depth analysis of the contents,
methods and typologies of elaborates expected
in preliminary, final and executive design phases.
- Standards related to materials and components.
An analysis of the fundamental contents of many
voluntary character standards regarding structure
and building industry related implants are carried
out. In some cases, the analysis is carried out
in parallel with the contents of similar standards
operating in other European countries (France,
in particular). The aim is to increase the students’
ability to edit capitulary documents.
- Aspects regarding the politics of quality in
the building industry. The analysis of the guidelines
for planning. The application of the basic principals
to the different actors involved in the building
process (clients, planner, building enterprise,
component manufacturer).
