Aims :
The
training objective of the course is to increase
the student’s capacity of confronting the
realization of form, the satisfaction of the requirements
of use and construction and the planning and realization
of an architectural organism.
Topics :
The lessons and the exercises in
various phases, are aimed at supplying the elements
and the instruments that the project is composed
of, passing from the general plan to the definition
of the choices of the final plan, up to the achieved
formality of the executives. By means of the following
subjects:
- The base materials of Architecture
- Brick Buildings (Wall framework, attics, roofing,
faces, the historical evolution of the different
types of brick building).
- Cement Buildings ( structural types and basic
characteristics; jet structures, attics, vertical
closure, roof closure, integration building –
ground, stairs)
- Steel Buildings (Structural Types, horizontal
and vertical closure)
- Wood Buildings (fundamental characteristics,
traditional structures, lamellare wood)
- Short accounts of Bioclimatic Architecture (general
citeria of planning)
- Legal aspects of the process of Town Planning,
executive process.

Distributed during the course .
Exam :
This extensive course consists of
theoretic lessons on the above subjects (60 hours),
and a series of exercises on the themes of planning
(60 hours. ) An integral part of the course and
a condition for entry to the exam is the attendance
of a planning workshop on technical architecture
I (LAT 1 of 60 hours) which explores the planning
process of family residence.
