Aims :

The aim of the course is the identification of invention techniques according to a double valence: techniques as interpretive instruments, techniques as instruments favouring setting off the creative design process, guiding it and making it more manageable.

Topics :

The course is articulated in 5 phases.
1a Phase: Introduction to the project site and the functional theme. Introduction to the project site. The project theme and the functional program
2a Phase: Acquaintance with the project site: redesign and analysis. Redesign of the project site. Analysis and acquaintance with the project site
3a Phase: definition of the project idea. Plastic project rough casts made in the classroom
4a Phase: Design Project elaboration. Preliminary project. Final project
5a Phase: detail. An analysis activity of the technological options in collaboration with the fourth year "Technology of building elements" course held by Prof. Mario De Grassi is foreseen in this phase.

Exam :

The exam will be held at the course’s conclusion. The date on which the exam will be held will be determined in agreement with the students.
